Stocking My Cupboard

Hello all I have had the most wonderful weekend. Up to my eyes in the kitchen chopping and stirring and of course tasting at just the right moment. I love to stock up my cupboard with yummy preserves, jams, jellies and pickles so when I saw the on the vine tomatoes in my local shop I knew I would be making some ketchup, I then saw the first of the peaches and I though jam. Here's the result of my labours. So much better than shop bought, packed full of delicious goodness and not an "e" number in sight. If you would like to try either let me know and I will add the recipes. Happy preserving.

  2. Hi how are you? The allotment is going well. I have planted carrots and onions, potatoes, salad veg, strawberries, pea and beans, beetroot and I inherited some gooseberry bushes. It takes up quite a bit of my time but I am enjoying it and can't wait to start harvesting. I will get recipes up today.
