What I have been Doing!

I have been so consumed with my sewing this week, and have been so enjoying this little business of mine. I am gearing up for autumn and winter, I have some big things to look forward to, more about that nearer the time. So I have been sewing well into the night and making a little progress. Bibs this week and and this super cute back pack I am considering this as one of my more expensive lines. Do you like it? would you buy it? I thought about making them in lots of different fabric combinations.

Perth Market

This was my first proper outdoor event and I learned so much. The weather was not on my side which made things difficult, it was windy I had to abandon my original display plan and think on my feet. String is an essential. The morning got off to a great start with a lovely customer who bought a few of my crayon rolls and eco facial pads she was off on holiday and wanted to buy gifts for her family who she was visiting and something special for her own kids. My stall was always busy and I talked to so many friendly people. It started to rain on and off in the afternoon so it was a bit stop start. I really enjoyed myself and have already booked up for the christmas market I expect the weather to test me in December but I think I can rise to the occasion.

Something New

I am considering adding to my little range of products. I am thinking about something more expensive around £20 -£30 or approx $30 - $45 I have a few ideas, well lots actually but I wanted to ask you all. What would you be willing to buy for a child, maybe for a birthday or christmas gift it doesn't have to be sewn but handmade certainly.

Scottish Game fair

I had a blast, I am totally exhausted but it was great I learned so much, met some fantastic and interesting people. A big shout out to 3d2d I could not have asked for a better group of crafters they were so generous and helpful and of course super talented. My bibs went down a storm. I have a few photos quickly taken during all the busy of the day. I have got lots of sewing to do between now and the Perth town centre craft market on the 17th July.

If you are one of the many people who asked yes I do mail order so if there is something you fancy please email me.
